Adobe homepage s.der've found nothing about this. Do you know whether the student version of Adobe Production Premium (or general student version) are upgradeable?
My intention is to me the student version and later buy an upgrade to the "real" version to make (once there is a successor).
But actually it would be yes from Adobe's perspective rather uneconomical.
Well ... yes you can still have hopes ...

I have Adobe Production Studio Premium Student Edition (the previous version of CS3) early in the year purchased. There was explicit in the process that updates to subsequent versions are not possible.
I would be surprised (but delighted) when the change would have.

There is next to the Student Version synonymous to Schulboxversion.
It costs about 360 instead of 760 Euros. Therefore, it is fully upgrade-able and there were (and are perhaps even more) a Grace Period, Purchase, Production Studio where the free upgrade for CS3 Production Studio is. The Schulboxversion can be used commercially synonymous!
