My sister goes to America for a year and wants to hold on video. In addition, they are looking for a handy camcorder, which will not be too expensive. Would be great if the price between 150 and 200 ¬ bewergen would.
What would be as recommended?

Of course it is not HD resolution, but I think that is not needed. Compared with normal digital camcorder should synonymous if they are favorable, but still have benefits, or not?
HD does not need to be. But few are synonymous normal camcorder PAL S-resolution, ie 720x576. The above model has only 640x480. And most of the Digi-foto snap synonymous. Even otherwise the model differs technically difficult of a camera, so the video quality will probably be similar.
When it comes to pure video, I would recommend in the price range will have more of a Panasonic S7/9/15 or SW20.
But I think that their tasächlich with a Panasonic TZ7 with their already well-developed video functionality s.besten are served.

The Sanyo is synonymous imho no real camcorder, but a cross between camcorder and still camera.
H.264 codec has the advantage that less space is consumed.
But the disadvantage that the material does not improve the transfer cut with an average PC, and sometimes synonymous can not even be played back smoothly.
The Mpeg2 format, the camcorder to use SD as problematic.
The TZ7 may H.264 in HD mode (; 1280x720) or use synonymous Motion JPG.

Have the shcon long and am very satisfied. Even more expensive models can not compete often.
Although the Canon FS200 slightly sharper picture, but the portability and small size makes, I found it more advantageous. Moreover s7 seemed to me to make faster and more sharp.
