'm Helipilot and would like a video camera installed in the helicopter, did the matter of no idea.
The following conditions:
- Insensitive to vibration
- Widest angle
- Zoom NOT required
- Gegenlichtunempfindlich (flight Rtg. Sun, no, I do not fly to the sun :-))
- PRICE VALUE camcorder should be (there cheap synonymous for 5000Euro CC, I would not spend more than 400Euro, if possible ...
- Small and light (as if necessary by suction cup mounting device s.Cockpitscheibe, depending on suitability)

What do you think the theme in the Heli and vibration HDD vs. SD? The intent is a whole series of intermediate rings supplied, one will probably fit the camcorder of your choice. The vibrations in a helicopter are indeed violent, but if you have a CCD camcorder with optical stabilizer choose, then the recordings should still tolerable framework. HD, I think for this purpose is not appropriate and they have usually synonymous CMOS sensors, the vibration shows regarding judicial deliver

I think there is nothing useful emerges. Prefer to rent a helicopter with fixed-up Camera.

I recommend you the Panasonic NV-GS 80, which has a CCD sensor, an optical stabilizer and the aforementioned wide-angle converter fits synonymous it, he has a 37mm ring, you'll need

Recently voted the "beer bottle open-with-a-helicopter" bets, a filmed and HDD Cam s.der of Helis runner mounted (do not worry, it was approved). Unfortunately, nothing of the Cam, and I suspect that the hard drive because of the vibration has been disabled.
With tape drives in the case of strong vibrations, I have no experience, but I would repeat with a fixed memory camcorder taste - the less moving parts, the better ...
