Without opening AAE now, there is somewhere a "glow", etc. for your writing, with keyframes after a few frames, the effect is driven to zero, I'd just try.

I know looks like the net effect, however, but you could be on Window> Motion skizieren skizieren the path of the lightning flash and then apply to the Zielkoordinate the effect.
