Hello All,
had several of my timeline. avi files (capture file).
I export the movie as an mpeg2, and after I export it replaces the original. Avi file against the encoded mpeg2 in the timeline!
I will not!
Under Export> Movie> Settings sach me there before I start the encoding, that box next to "Upon completion of the Project to add" can disable this would be the solution to my problem. But I overlooked the synonymous and saved the project after the encoding (the exchange of mpeg avi). So in the time line now. Feels mpg.
Must it be possible again to undo? how I recover the link. avi files? I want with uncompressed avi files, or work next to another film together and cut encode.
At least, now in the timeline all file a. Mpg extension!
But I would like the next new project and edit as mpeg2 output, but this is nonsense as repeated play MPEG2 to encode mpeg2! Quality deterioration?
I was lying right with my opinion? can someone help me?

Hi,
after so much "mishap" You've certainly synonymous Autosave not activated? If so, do hold a copy before the mishap.
Otherwise could help you:
Right click on the MPG2 footage in the project window-> offline edit, then right click again-> media connect. Choose now the relevant opinions from finished.
Assuming the files are actually up to the same format.

sorry, my brain turns slowly! :) The source files were real. Mpg files! these gabs than never. avi ('ve somehow confused with other projects). Somehow I thought that's been previously avi ...
The option "After completing the Add Project" has me totally confused, and led to think it would have swapped the files ...
Whether I do or do, nothing will change.
But! I learned resisted with the help of your files to connect and link! I will certainly need time.
