Frage von Dito Lexi:
Hi,
Afterfx shows only 2047 Mb RAM, 4Gb while mounted in the system. Combustion shows only 1.7 Gb. Windows returns the third value - it will recognize only 3 GB of system ... lt Microsoft service that is only a "display bug" of Windows XP, which I do not think so. Problem with the memory? Who can help?

Antwort von Chris2:

yep, that's because that Windows XP can deal only with a maximum of 3 GB of RAM. The procedure described in the link will help change the boot.ini to enable other Programs that use 3 GB of synonymous really.
More RAM with XP is to my knowledge only of the 64-bit version of Windows and supports specific Windows Server 2003 editions.
