Hello dear experts,
Unfortunately, yesterday was my PC is gone to the dogs, and since that of 2004, I am unfortunately a bit "out of date" as far as new processors, etc..
I used the PC to play a little bit but probably mainly for DV editing - I'm no pro, but I would like to work in HD.
2-3 video tracks (usually MP4 - approximately 1 GB for 10 minutes) should be solved without much jerking parallel (eg Two Videspuren stacked if I want to use the green screen etc) and synonymous rendering should go reasonably Flott.

A) better than 2 hard disks and RAID-0?
B.) Submit to me with Windows 7 (included in the package) 4 GB Ram, or should it have to be equal to 8 GB?
C.) What do you think the graphics card?
D.) How to find the systems of) the price performance terms (Alternate, gibts perhaps something better (important: Complete with warranty)

to A) RAID 0 is halt dangerous because when appearing on a hard drive failure all data are gone .... And RAID is absolutely necessary for what you do not want to do ....
Take any case, a Extraplatte for your system .... which can be a bit smaller ... synonymous s.250GB ....
to B) always better more ... But if you now have a 4GB kit so you can take to upgrade later .... 4GB "rich" erstmal
to C) slightly too large, I would say (just like the power supply ).... what editing program do you use?
Just think about a BluRay burner ... so expensive are not synonymous, and then you can spend in HD ....

And RAID is absolutely necessary for what you do not want to do .... - Yes, that with the mistakes I've thought of myself synonymous, so if it is not absolutely necessary, it must not necessarily be synonymous (if I bring wait 2 minutes longer in order for my film edges, not by me)

Currently I am using Pinnacle 14 (because 32 bit can only use 4 GB or eh?), But I have other things as synonymous Magix tried, but found the much Umtändlicher - somehow.

I'm not sure if the INTEL or AMD is better to cut, what do you think of (the aforementioned processors, it should perhaps rather be a I7?)

I think in general its own system disk.
So the system: 320GB SATA2 and data: 1TB SATA2
... the old IDE, I'd not install because ....
.... your i5 system, I find at first glance, ok ....
The i5 has a good price-/Leistungsverhältnis .... so you'll surely happy.

Importance of this: Look at how many memory slots are available / busy. For example, if 2 existing slots are occupied with 2 x 2 GB, you have to 8 GB (Buy 2 x 4 GB) to upgrade to 8 GB. With Windows 7 64-bit, I would just suggest to 8 GB.
