The camcorder has a 3-times optical zoom ... this is unfortunately quite slow, but not so much the weight falls and little bother! The Auto Focus is responding very slowly, so he needs some time to a particular object sharp focus (especially in low light conditions) ... this is particularly noted when zooming. The large amounts of data must be compressed so that they fit an SD card, preferably without much loss of quality. This is achieved with the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format. To my knowledge there are currently only a few players (DVD player), this format (eg, of KISS). So, either directly from the camcorder to play or convert.
The MPEG4 format is yes with some programs further (see contributions).
Converting to another format works without problems (with "Nero Vision", "MainConcept" or "super", etc. For example, in. Avi format)
On the subject Tripod: The camcorder has a perfectly normal tripod thread, like almost every other camera synonymous.

So it looks when you watch the videos of the Aiptek Z300 (H264.MOV / MPEG4) in. AVI (DIVX) and. MPEG2 files has converted.
I have the free program "Super vers 2007" is used (DIVX).
The ZIP file contains the Urspungsdatei and three videos in various formats and Resolutions [1280x720, 720x576 (. Avi), 720x576 (. Mpeg2)]

So, I have the Z300 now since 4 days here and lie for me may draw the following Conclusion:

The bottom line, I am very satisfied. One must simply remember that one for 290EUR not even a good 16:9 PAL DV camcorder gets, let alone a resolution with 1280x720p. The aforementioned are always happy to Panasonic GS-180 is now not to get under 430EUR.

What struck me on the videos have a negative is:
- Every time s.Ende is pressing the REC button clicks.
- Handle s.der Camera is very good audible
- From the sound not so overwhelming
- "Fuzzy" images - horizontal lines are shifting
Can only assess the material posted. But at this price is not bad.

Did the mov.dateien with the freeware SUPER-in avi. converted.
These files I have on my Medion Digtainer dubbed, this is my file via VGA (1280 x 720) LCD TV s.den sieht super aus!
my newer DVD player of Medion do not want to play only the TON!
I'm using following setting of the conversion mov to avi
SUPER at 1st
= avi, 2 = MPEG-4, 3 = mp3
MEncoder 1280:720 16:9 frame 30 bitrate 4080

Class Forum here. So the camera seems to inspire. For the upcoming holiday synonymous I consider a "small" cam to buy.
I would like to say a few more test videos. Especially interested me whether the camera synonymous for more than just shooting with tripod to be used.
My wish would be a few clips once outdoors (landscape or something), buildings (people, children or animals) and in fast-moving objects (a dog that plays, for example) If it goes without tripod.
Who has the possibility to record these clips, I have a server because it could grab it and I could here the link in the forum settings. I and many others would buy a lot with my help. PS: Just one more week until vacation :-)

Have received today my Cam. Everything even the Unterwassercase. Habs synonymous equal times under the tap test. Everything dry :-) Otherwise I have no videos made just 2 small rooms with no battery in, they are quite ok, if somewhat noisy synonymous what I believe in full but limited.
A detailed test follows at the latest after my upcoming vacation.
Again briefly my views on the topic of SD cards. I have 2 units with Lifetime warranty purchased. Hello, grad mal 2 hours back from holiday do I sign the same again.
At least the shooting conditions were ideal, 37C sunshine and super motives.
The videos I aufm Calculator not yet viewed, just a few sentences for handling holiday.
The Battery held after 3 ne time charge at least half an hour. Do I think 2 times to recharge them. The display is synonymous with bright sunshine well lit. The Unterwassercase has fully fulfilled its purpose, even the highest waves could nix the Cam wear. The only drawback is the focus of the closed housing greatly to hear that. At least one has the envious glances at camcorder owners may lead you in the sea when the camera has this ;-)

Under water, it was hardly possible to see what it pretty dull through the waves was. I could imagine, however while the snorkelling etc. pretty good light conditions prevail need to see properly.

Not bad, the bus at the rail plate like me pretty well. A steady hand is anything but easy, but because I am already accustomed synonymous. I think with the right lighting and a tripod is much potential in the Cam.

Pixel 1280 x 720 (Quality 100 - best quality) and sound to text and header guy - Size approximately 1, 4 GB and a lot of time.
One years ago, I have my brother with a family movie in DVD quality (720 x 576) will take approximately 40 minutes (with photos, etc.) together.
We have approximately 12 hours (assembly and cutting) used. Conclusion The end result was good, but it is certainly better.

My hard drive has the media box detected, contrary to the notice in the manual (only FAT 16 and FAT 32).
The MOV. Files recognize the box does not (yet?) But my clip I've created (after conversion to avi, and further processing with Magix VDL) as WMV HD (1280 x 720) with 30 fps! without bucking and audio over the HDMI 1 s.mein Technisat HD output 32.
WLAN and LAN, I have not tried. But the clip is clearly and cleanly via HDMI 1080i over, synonymous with old clips you have rendered different codecs, will be played.

So I do something wrong as well. With installed Quicktime player I can Vids Easily import but not smooth despite the editing Dual Core 2.13 Gh and 2 GB Ram.
When uninstalled Quicktime installed but Aipteksoftware happens the same as s.Anfang, nothing. Importing is not even possible. So what am I doing wrong or what do you do this correctly you can edit Vids smooth?

The Mov. Clips of the Cam, I walk with the freeware Super 2007 in AVI (MPEG 4)
order.
This AVI clips do I edit with Magix VDL 2007 Plus (e-version) cut etc.
The resulting films! I save as a WMV 9 from HD.
Checks are carried out with the VCL player.
My computer hardware is a Medion laptop (1.73 Ghz)
512 MB RAM and 100 GB HD.
When converting to the HD WMV9 for a 3 min.Film my laptop takes about 25 to 30 min.
The HD movie's running smooth (synonymous known as Trailer Flight pilot, etc.) on my laptop.
But really look at and fun to this via HDMI to my HD TV Technisat 32 on the Media Box
with external HD

The only good s.der Aiptek sin but the underwater shots, the light weight and the relatively low price. And the good picture. but which remains even in the low left post. So yes I have but nothing like this.

my Magix Video Deluxe 2007 can easily Aiptek-.MOV 's import, if the cam software in the CD-ROM pre-installed.

It is not necessary that a clip (File0001 original) the old number should get.
