The Firewire transfer does basically the same for all DV camcorders. If your Medion since difficulties, makes it easy to describe the problem here in the forum, the chances are good that you can help someone without having seen this particular camera ever. You may find the answer synonymous in the two standard links relating to Firewire:
FireWire FAQ">Camcorder / recorder s.PC connect, capture and edit images
If not Firewire (right) works

If not Firewire (right) works Hello, had the cam has tried out the pros they s.anderen PCs and has not synonymous scoring successes. My PC is fairly new and in the device manager tells me that the card is OHCI-compatible FireWire is new, Medion says the camera is too old (2002) and there would be no more software for it. it must have another reason that Windows Movie Maker does not recognize the camera. I would like to know if anyone has ever been spread with the MD 9035 data to the PC and how? Greetings shooting star. hopege2@web.de

... Had tried out the cam with a professional they s.anderen PCs and has not synonymous scoring achievements ... This raises the suspicion that either the firewire output of the camera is faulty or the cable (if you have the same in all tests used). Can you exclude both safe?
... Medion says the camera is too old (2002) and there would be no more software for it ... There goes by the statement of Medion simply s.der reality, for MiniDV cameras have 2002, no special software required for the camera belonging to over play the video, and 2011, either. If Firewire in the Calculator available, cable and camcorder in order, it does capture, or any popular editing software.
