Frage von cool.magnum:Hello s.alle:)
I am a total ignorant in this respect, so please verzeit my weird questions.
I have an analog Comcorder of Sony, which is a i-link port.
I would like my old camcorder as a surveillance camera for my child to use, which in another room is located. Possible by the camcorder to the PC with Sound in Echtziet and not from your camcorder to the television.
Is this possible? I hhab me read something. Do I need such an external DV converter? They are very expensive right?
What cable do I need and worth it? Geht das überhaupt?
For a quick answer, I would be very grateful to you. I leave myself to you!
Liebe Grüße
Thomas Rostock

Hello Thomas,
when a camcorder to tape recording, some users believe that it is an analog device must act. - That is of course nonsense. DV = Digital Video = tape. ;-)
If your camcorder (make? Model?) An i.Link port, then he is in any case digital. In this case, the camcorder via the DV cable s.den Firewire port of your PC and be angestöpselt the Picture with WinDV monitored or recorded to be synonymous.
When only a control without the simultaneous recording is in fact no sound output. This would be an additional audio connection between your camcorder and PC is necessary.
