Frage von gaddagah:Hello!
Have the following problem: I have a VHS from which I will gladly incorporate some clips into a presentation. Since I have all the cutting, I would capture the entire movie so s.liebsten directly as a DV-Avi, so I do not have too much quality loss, and afterward cut in not only needs to render everything. Is there a program with which I can capture the VHS signal on my composite input from the graphics card directly as DV-AVI?
Have you ever thank you for your help ...
Christian

Use a capture program that can get s.Input of your graphics card and b) you a DV codec for encoding offers.
My first attempt would be the capture software the graphics card. It may be that the recording as AVI (DV AVI) is generally not possible.
My second attempt would be VirtualDub 1.6.11 - which is known to manage well the synchronicity. As a DV codec, I would give me example of Panasonic's DV codec (DV Slashcam FAQ) to include.
The next attempt would be CaptureFlux of Paul Glagla. Or I would play around with the Graphedit of the DirectX SDK and even try building a state reception DirectShow graph.
Good luck
