Frage von grix:Hi,
I just try to AE CS3 to animate characters that I've created with Photoshop. There are body parts on several levels. Head, torso, upper arm, forearm, hand ...
If I were now in the AE arm wants to move that figure as drinks, then I choose the 3 levels. If I want to rotate the arm, then the axis of rotation s.einem pretty stupid place. Can I somehow than the levels together to determine hearing, and the Drechachse arbitrarily set? (Level -> grouped shapes. Does not)
And is it somehow possible to connect between the 3 levels, so that if I move a part, the 2 others are selected point s.einem hang, like the poor s.einer doll?
Or can the AE is not everything to me and I should buy a 3D program?
Thanks for any help,
GRIX

Rotate -> Anchor Point s.richtige body slide
Level transformations link -> Parenting ( "Parent")
Otherwise: True, there's inverse kinematics in AE. It is only by expression or part of the Puppet tool. The one now understood to declare takes one hundred years, for the others -> Manual read.

This is a movement tool (Bones - the man called "limbs" in 3D PROGIS) which is free and quite nicely illustrates what, how, where is.

Pretty good and cheap animation program POSER is not too expensive and goes up to a certain level.
Kuck you here because it is right and is well described as synonymous demo available

Otherwise Mylenium has already erklert what where when how can / could ;-)
