Hi Folks,
who has experience with the above mics?
Find a "good" (does not need to be perfect) directional microphone for my "old" camcorder (Panasonic DS30) as an addition I already have a hot shoe adapter. Camera has a 3.5 mm jack.
Which of these is now the 3s better? Must distances of about 30-40 m can take.

for a distance of 30-40 meters is tight with normal directional microphones. I work very pleased with the Sennheiser ME66, which is very sensitive and provides a strong output signal. However, this is not enough for everyone. Look at the article

Had earlier times with a "cheap-directional micro-worked. Geanz has done good service. But was analog video recording. Distance was roughly the same. about 30 m.
In my wanderings through the net I came across the 3 aforementioned mics. What is now really good for anything?

The microphone is no preference, if your camcorder is analog or digital. Why do not you continue to use your previous directional microphone, if it has done good service?

I know only the S959C. This is a stereo microphone with cardioid polar pattern, so not really a directional microphone for great distances, but synonymous in this discipline better than any Built-in Micro. However, it is a really good with Micro At price-/Leistungsverhältnis good.

I've just seen that the technical data of Hama microphone are not the same as in the Audio-Technica. The frequency range of the ATR 55 is with 70 - 18,000 Hz, although better, but it seems to have no such marked directional effect.
Language for the frequency of my Hama-directional microphones was always okay. What you will actually sound source with a directional microphone to capture (this question would have to come much sooner)?

Actually, only language. Especially on holidays when we are always traveling in groups I and several meters of the others have gone.

Each microphone is actually a specialist for specific applications. An all-rounder for Language, Voice and Music does not exist.
As I said, I have made with the PMT-10 always good voice, but I know of in this price range synonymous only this microphone from personal experience. Perhaps someone expresses views which of the above mics you know, or perhaps other models can bring into the conversation ...?!

I have the MKE300 in use, is quite good in terms of sound quality delivered.
You only have to check that the camcorder has a Aussteuerungsmöglichkeit - the Micro is so sensitive that they absolutely must be able to intervene here at the Studio regulating. Ideal would be their own pots as it is about the XM2 - if necessary gehts synonymous menus on price rises.
Sole Wehrmutstrofen that struck me: the MKE 300 is sensitive, and was with me 2x already under repair. But was done very quickly of Sennheiser, I was waiting at 2x (Service Agency in Vienna).
