Hello!
Do me a few weeks / months, the XH A1 purchased. Until recently, everything ran normally. Since a 3-day Film Project operates the aperture ring no more. The aperture itself is running in Auto mode ( "TV") is normal. In manual mode ( "M") as I say not. Sometimes it is synonymous to me noticed that when you rotate the aperture ring between the two figures jumped out and her, for example, of 1.6 to 1.8 to 1.6 to 1.8 and then next, though only in the ring a direction has rotated. Most responded that thing no more.
I got the feeling that I will send Cam to repair needs. A little hope of rescuing your Seits remains however.
So what could be the reason and how can this problem be solved?

You had at the same time focused? I think something have read that one aperture and focus can not be changed.
Otherwise, yes, you have the warranty and I would use synonymous as long as it still exists.

Yes, I (unfortunately) already noticed that one aperture and focus can not operate simultaneously. But it is not. I just hit the aperture ring and it does nothing, or the numbers jump as described above.

yes is is sadly so!
This was already in the first test reports to the relevant video journals criticized.
Canon has designed the box that this is not funtkioniert.

Ok, but please back to the actual topic.
I have just so all the camera settings are reset. It would indeed be that some setting is wrong, why always synonymous. Which unfortunately has nothing.
I will now turn directly to Canon, since most "I'm not stupid" people have little idea.

I put on M without problems and can make sharp, zoom, exposure time and vary taataaa: adjusting the aperture.
only for the fall ... to hide zuverstellen naturally enough light must be present. keyword: belichtungszeit and hide -> base

could be. but it is a pure speculation.
Or do all users to the camcorder xracy incorrect? ...? may or may hide the ring broken?
apart from that, have the users of which are involved in this thread have only Camy and I use the canon.

How can I xracy übrigends synonymous with my A1 at the same time, the Aperture adjustment and manual focus. Also, Aperture and Zoom can be operated simultaneously.
The simultaneous handling of Aperture, Zoom and Focus, I can not for lack of dexterity test ... ;-)

Zoom and focus to work but not together (for me at any rate)!

Whether the aperture with zoom or focus works, I tried no net.

That's true, Zoom and Focus probably use the same servo. The Vertigo Effect is not possible - I need to but not synonymous. One shortcoming is mE can easily get over.
