Hi cj,
in Final Cut Express, you are not the professional format available: DVC PRO HD, XDCAM HD, DVC PRO 50, Digibeta etc.
The 3-way color correction has been also Final Cut Pro reserved.
There are now in Final Cut Express HD Effects keyframes, which according to my knowledge previously not been possible.

Habe mir FinalCut Express two weeks ago ordered (in Switzerland), but has not yet arrived! According to shop there these days.
I do not now whether the delay possibly by the new release is made. What should I do if I still get 3.5?
Is not only more expensive but less synonymous. Just send back? Or has Apple for these cases to a special offer (eg free-update if bought in November)?

To a bit clarity.
Soundtrack has never been in Final Cut Express and is synonymous contain no more available separately. Soundtrack is now part of the Final Cut Studio, synonymous with the Final Cut Pro belongs.
As to the question of the appointment of FCE 3.5, it is because Apple usually very accommodating and we should have no problems, version 3.5 against a 4.0 seems to be synonymous with it the cheaper price may be paid. Wrong. Soundtrack 1.5 was part of Final Cut Express 3.5.
