iMovie recognizes everything! That you can calmly think. Of course, only if your Firewire and Cam in VTR / VCR mode .. If you're not have built-in iSight (the things I go to the cookie, and you can not switch off, you feel like BigBrother, my tip: patch it!), But you need to select the firewire Cam.
If this fails, I would firstly another firewire cable to try (may be broken). Worse would be
this.
Antwort von orsen:
thank you for your tip.
klapt but unfortunately it still does not and the cable and the firewire s.mac are orderly.
maybe someone still has a hint for me?
Antwort von Markus:
Hello Orsen,
there are only three possible causes, it could s.denen (two of them had "guest" as already mentioned):
1. The Firewire cable is defective or has a poor or no contact. Try a different times, possibly a value.
2. The connector of your DV camcorder is broken, eg due to an electrostatic discharge. Whether this is true, you can find out by typing your camcorder times s.einen other computer connects.
3. The Firewire interface s.Mac is defective. You can test this by typing times another camcorder or other firewire device connected s.Deinen computer.

Already a different program (Quicktime, Avid Free DV, etc.) tried?
Antwort von Orsen:
hallo leute,
the panasonic has been synonymous of a Windows machine can not erkannt.also it just be that the machine has broken. s.kabel because it can not synonymous, since I use the cable with another camera successfully used.
is quite annoying, since it is a new camera is / was.
This defect is now a covered warranty or am I to blame?
I thank you for your reply

... this is now a defective warranty covered or am I to blame? What you will read:
www.mpec-gmbh.de/hd/_detailpage/zubehoer/kameras/2026/Kramer_PT_1FW.html,
could it be that the Manufacturer of your own fault originates. How exactly the Panasonic handles, I do not know.
