I've got a problem and although I have artifacts in the picture if I can play the tape (VCR mode) (ie no artefacts are recorded).
This problem occurs only in conjunction with a connected firewire cable and power supply. Becomes one of the two separately, the picture easily reproduced, as well as synonymous to monitor the PC when the power cord was ausgesteckt.
Firewire + adapter = artifacts Battery + Firewire = No artifacts AC Adapter / Battery = No artifacts
Has anyone similar experiences / suggestions?

because you've really an exotic problem, "selected"! ;-)
To isolate the next thing, I would be next to the other camcorder s.einen Calculator connect and look what happened. Alternatively, I would synonymous times the Firewire cable and switch as synonymous nor the camcorder. - This is the only (even systematic) poking the proverbial fog, but the exotic challenges require fundamental nunmal after.

Yes, I will investigate tomorrow times. The second laptop is available, second cable synonymous, with the second camera for the first time nothing. Second Firewire card if there were still synonymous with the run but my camcorder does not. It's a little annoying, you can have with a good hour Battery ne movie capture, but then the battery is full synonymous throughout etc. But finally I've found times the error, or at least a solution to problems without capturing them.

Either pull the FW device connected too (may have multiple reasons) for the perhaps too small power supply (should be in their own care actually be turned off) or your power supply is easily broken. Because of battery and when it is connected with power supply, the combination moves naturally from the Battery.

One thing struck me another: Are all the devices connected to same power supply, preferably through a multiple distribution s.die same outlet? It might be that otherwise a fault current flows, the feature's functionality.
