Frage von Johnny:2:Hi everyone.
I would have got a question regarding experience. I find this very interesting Atomos Ninja unit - particularly the ability to record directly ProRes422. However, we still operate largely on a Canon XH-A1, which we all know, no HDMI output. Would adapter that convert the component signal to HDMI a possibility? What about s.der place with losses?

Would adapter that convert the component signal to HDMI a possibility? What about s.der place with losses? Yes, that would be a solution. The quality suffers here is minimal. It is only the question of how many boxes and power supplies you would like to make s.einer such a small camera yet? On top of that can go wrong during the recording - after all, you stop start the recording (in addition) s.externen Recorder and.
If it is to be as 4:2:2, then buy it even better, one of the new Canon CF cards with it. The bottom line saves time, money and nerves.

Hi Deti.
Thanks for your answer. Do you have experience synonymous with the "Billigheimer adapters" as so one: http://www.amazon.de/Viforo-Component-Converter-Umwandler-Signalverst%C3%A4rkung/sim/B002CAYCXM/2
Sure, the question is how much one is it - rumbaumelt where we have a whole lot and turn is hung. But the possibility of the capture times / save issues I find quite appealing. Synonymous but true - if you plan in the future, we will soon go the synonymous Tapeless step. Hm - well. We'll see. Thanks anyway for the idea.

The component signal is itself limited: it is an analog signal. I'd put s.deiner body no energy in this idea.
The advantage of the Ninja is imho not ProRes, but the fact that it is 4:2:2. This color correction and keying are better because more precise.
If you have HDV footage, it is in terms of preservation wiser to render in ProRes (meaning the issue!). One difference is seen only, if at all color correction and keying are operated on a larger scale. For those who do not, the topic is uninteresting.
It would be interesting for the Ninja camcorder (and the Pana GH2? Does anyone closer?) Who spend a good HDMI signal, which would be clarified first. The Canon DSLRs, the 2-processor synonymous Camera 7D give out any useful full HD signal.
The samurai would be interesting for EX and their ilk. This would ussynonymous partially increases the transmission capability (favorite topic of WoWu).
The Swiss Army Knife of pro cameras, the legendary Arri Alexa, ProRes really only stands for the "Edit Decision", ie as an offline format. Yet we hear much praise about it.

Well - when I'm in the Arri Alexa division ascending I'm making I think about other things as head of NEN NEN small 4:2:2 recorder o)
But thanks for your assessment synonymous! Conclusion As can be said: Not really.
