Frage von Wasti:Hi folks!
A little Introduction to the current situation:
I own a recording studio which has been operating for several years a successful collaboration with a fellow video studio. For personal reasons, the video studio operator breaks but now its tents pulls s.and. Since my video and audio in film, however, always have been interested and I have therefore played with him in the studio often volunteered the wizard came up with the idea, the department also to integrate video into my studio. After I had communicated this decision, it reinforced my quasi-enrollment video and I, in return, in my studio, its audio training.
Now comes the time to be nice and slowly start getting closer to the U.S. and I would like to integrate the video section to the recording studio.
What are the requirements?
As do many bands in my studio and their recordings through my collaboration with the video production studio here an ideal arc is created, mainly music videos are cut and rotated.
The cameras are:
Sony HVR Z5
Canon XH A1
SonyPMW EX3
Now to my current issues s.kundige Forum members:
As my business partner has been working on Mac and PC I use in the recording studio (I am 6 years ago of MAC switched to PC and happy), he is on the hardware configuration does not much help.
Although I have quite a bit about the hardware synonymous here read the forum but you never know the actual requirements of the people behind it.
In my case I come up to up to 6 video streams (HDTV 1920x1080 25p) to be processed in real time and the preview will also be guaranteed in real time. The individual streams can be expected with up to 4 effects of different types.
Went to the MAC system with Quadro FX4800 and Raid.
So, I plan to an Intel system with the following specifications:
Processor: http://www.ditech.at/artikel/IC72600/Prozessor_INTEL_Core_i7_-_2600_340GHz_LGA1155_Quad-Core_Boxed.html
RAM: http://www.ditech.at/artikel/D3YK16A/DDR3-RAM_KIT_16_GB_1600_MHz_CL9_KINGSTON_HyperX_Genesis.html
Mainboard: http://www.ditech.at/artikel/MGI805/Mainboard_S-1155_GIGABYTE_GA-H67A-UD3H_ATX.html
System disk: http://www.ditech.at/artikel/H2D00IB/Solid_State_Disk_25Zoll_SATA_II_INTEL_Mainstream_X25-M_G2_Postville_80_GB.html
Countertops: 4 units in RAID 10 composite. http://www.ditech.at/artikel/H3T03WD/Festplatte_SATA_II_Western_Digital_VelociRaptor_300_GB_16MB_Cache.html
Disks are cheap disks in RAID 1 7200
In the graphics card I would tend to a GTX570 or GTX580. Why? Because these cards in terms of CUDA cores and memory bandwidth, the Quadro 5000/6000 have indeed already obsolete and I have not for a multi s.Speicher and the warranty extension, the exorbitant costs of these cards would.

I am aware is that the memory is an important point on the graphics card. So the question is as to whether to compensate the technical advantage of CUDA cores and more memory bandwidth, the lack of memory or I may be lost, despite increased efficiency performance. Even if SLI is useful to be clarified.
Worked with Avid Media Composer and is mainly used Adobe CS5.
The remaining components will save me, being on the performance of the system probably can not influence.
Thank you in advance for constructive contributions.
