The XH A1 is limited to 2 channel. Now if I want to theoretically more channels (eg for additional stereo recording or more Lavalier lines), I would need an additional recording device. Now this device I can still swing somewhere around the waist, but what makes me more worried is the subsequent post production.
The recorder will record from the records in files. Is there already a nice workflow for subsequent synchronization with the video material?
Over time, the NLE could theoretically arrange the pieces.
The other is more of a minor problem: Do I turn off both devices and an accessible manual or is there as a controller (eg, é Lanc.) ..?

A human controller, called the sound man (or soundwoman) would be recommended.
