Frage von Budoudo:Hi,
I noticed that most of the camcorder into /
16 bit 48khz audio record.
My audio recorder offers the possibility in 16 and
24 bit to take on.
What choice am I to take? What is the difference?
Thanks and greetings

clearly 24bit, the resolution of the volume is at 16 bit 2hoch 16 values = 65,536, 24bit 2hoch24 = 16,777,216 values, the dataset is 1.5 times as large.
especially in audio signals which vary between very loud and very quiet brings considerable 24bit resolution reserve, which is synonymous reflected in the post very positive. the more s.speicherplatzbedarf is capacity in today's rather marginal. your recorder should provide the opportunity for the synonymous 96khz resolution, this is a further possibility to raise the quality, but tripled in 24bit/96khz the memory requirements (in relationship to 16bit/48kHz). I personally appreciate the quality when winning jump of 16bit to 24bit one higher than then of 24bit/48kHz on 24bit/96khz. the latter is already generally high-end equipment (microphones, preamp) advance to quality than winning, then perceived to be synonymous.

Hello SRone,
Thank you for your detailed reply. Then I will maintain contact and with the so 48khz/24bit (96khz me is available on request).

Although it certainly is not synonymous with high-end products and microphones makes sense to work at 96kHz. The less distortion there is in the altitude range.
