Newsmeldung von slashCAM:Hier geht es zur Newsmeldung: Avatar: No Oscar nomination for the actor
Antwort von Blackeagle123:
whether in the avatar more verantwortlichsind the actors or the computer animators for the representational power of the figures, has been answered to the detriment of the show Spier and its Oscar chances. This is a shame, really ... I think a lot of the performance capture technology, precisely because one can perfect facial expressions and gestures later still in the computer. However, it will be judged in the matter of awarding of prizes very difficult to see how well the actor was and how much s.Computer is subsequently formed. I am sure that the actor has an immense proportion, otherwise the performance capture would be even no need ...
Maybe in future they will have to open a new branch, which divides the price of the actor and performance-capture controller!?
Best regards,
Constantin

The actors were not nominated because their performance was only mediocre synonymous. It is that simple

I'm more of synonymous Meihnung that one would have more of a technical Oscar authorities may award - for the techniques used here.
A theatrical performance is not offered here in my eyes.
As other Preformance wessentlich were better and had more synonymous of "spectacles" ;-))
