Frage von slehmann:Hi,
I had an issue with the objective of a new section s.euch PCs. What do you think of an HP workstation with 2.6 GHz Xeon processor and 8 GB RAM? The exact dates are http://cgi.ebay.de/HP-XW6400-Workstation-Xeon-2-66GHz-8GB-146GB-DVD-Quadro-/150500556831?pt=DE_Technik_Computer_Peripherieger% C3% A4te_PC_Systeme & hash = find item230a88401f.
I want the workstation for high-definition DV editing with Edius 5.5 and Avid Liquid Pro 2.7 use. If the data are sufficient for this?
Course, would be for data storage, nor acquired corresponding hard disks. The integrated SAS drives are sufficient for HD is not enough. In addition, a Blu-Ray burner is provided.
I look forward to your answers!

I bought a used HP 8400 Workstation - runs like Hull. Works great.
The built-in hard disks are by the way of something quickly - you mean the place is not enough or the speed? That are faster than SATA, it will not lie. Are but a small bissel far as I know you're lying in long certainly true.

You should already make sure that your PC reaches at least 4000 points in the CPU benchmark.
I've got one with me recently over 6000 score and am satisfied with the performance. Nevertheless, I have already discovered a need for optimization.

Is so synonymous a dual-core ... no wonder.
