Frage von deneuve:Hi,
I would just like to CS4 a mobile editing system for HD editing with Premiere, grow later perhaps synonymous CS5. Appropriate cut-Laptops seem unfortunately few and far between and very expensive to have. Now I came across this offer. What say you could do the hardware combination? I am especially in the ATI graphics card unsure:
Acer Aspire 7745 (about 1500 ¬)
Specifications: Display: 17.3 Inch / graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 / Processor: Intel Core i7 720QM / Clock Speed: 1600 MHz / RAM: 8,192 MB / Hard Disk Space: 1200 GB / Display Resolution: HD + (1600 x 900) / Graphics Memory 1024 MB / Optical Disc Drives: Blu-ray ROM / DVD ± RW Combo / Windows 7 Home Premium
What say you, does it?
Greetings
Antje

Antje,
it depends on what you want to edit HD material (codec, frame rate, bitrate, etc.), with only a video track, or with several. You should expect real time playback of the timeline with PIPs and various filtering / Colorgarding etc., it will be cut or by proxy intermediate material.
The graphics card should, of course, synonymous for CUDA acceleration and suitable to be Schnittperogramm.
Inside Multimedia kannn you offer as security with a suitable laptop.

Hi Peter Bruno,
I need the average computer instantly for the editing of AVCHD - and DVCProHD material, for the editing of XDCAM EX HD and MPEG-material, the list but should be extended (the camcorder at the moment behind: Panasonic HMC 41, JVC HM 100, Kodak Zi8, Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 500D) I read with you out of the question whether the calculator for the amateur or professional cut is needed. Professional here is the answer. The laptop is required in a newsroom and there are quite different camcorder or SLR with movie mode in action.
As far as I know, not yet supported CS4 Cuda. I'm interested in how Premiere with the ATI graphics card get along the said laptop. I had quite a few problems three years ago to build an Avid editing suite, which now wants to avoid at Premiere. Therefore, the question in the forum, whether Premiere and the laptop Acer Aspire 7745 with HD-cut harmony.
Best regards,
Antje

Macbook pro 15 "and Final Cut (express) or studio. Since you have just to convert to codecs (with AVCHD) and you are you having a hot liquid section - which is then no problem;)

Hi Antje
I just had exactly the same target, laptop'm later for CS4 and CS5 perhaps come to a similar Eregebnis.
From your selected laptop I would you advise, however, essential: Key interface between you and the Conpi is the display, it is reflective displays a constant stress factor, disrupt and burden especially if you want to work long - would be for me, never questioned, something is probably more suitable for people who sit in dark rooms.
also is not recommended for Adobe Of ATI, particularly for CS5.
My solution was Vostro 3700, also i7, 17 inch matte, with the Nvidia ® Geforce !" GT 330M, for about 1400 ¬. Then I would have preferred to have the Quadro FX 3800M, which is only evident at higher priced models, such as Lenovo and Dell Precision w701. Since these cards are not designated for CS5, I once made this middle class model from uind wait times, until it is appropriate CS5 laptops.

Hi Reiner, thanks for your answer, very helpful tips! At the reflecting display I had not thought of. I have looked at the Dell configurations. Why are the only notebooks with 32-bit versions of Windows will be shipped 7? Can not even use the 8GB yes.
I have just looked around a little. This seems to be synonymous SonyVaio quite interesting:

The VAIO makes a particularly powerful impression! With the 1GB graphics card can even use in PPro CS5 Mercuy engine. With the i7 Processor is to advise you in every way synonymous good. 8GB RAM is synonymous with this price outrageously shameless! : D
