Quick Solution:
The Quick Time plug in an external Reference Encoder (TMPEG for example) and then clean the resulting MPEG into Avid DVD. So make wirs halt ...

Yes, thank you. This works for me synonymous with Sorensen Squeeze. Only I thought it would be the more direct solution.
Antwort von Alf_300:
Avid DVD is identical with DVDit Pro HD, if it consoles you, there goes not synonymous. we should perhaps intstallieren an older Qt version (7.2, 7.5).

Your second way is the right thing: cut in Avid, export a Quicktime reference, import this into Sorenson Squeeze, then create an Mpeg-2 with the right for a video DVD settings and it then (and WAV file) in the authoring program Import Avid DVD by Sonic.
And note: If you produce high-resolution, if you have to export a Quicktime Reference Video-DVD uses the Avid first of HD switch to PAL and then a video mixdown make (eg MXF 50 MBit) and it then Quicktime Reference to export and encode the squeeze, because otherwise the picture is sharp and flicker on CRT monitors.

This is not entirely correct, for Avid DVD is available of time to time, or software updates, DVDit Pro HD already seems to be support technically dead for two years ;-).

When I have problems with my DVDit get then I'll take to heart. Now let us see first whether the thread creator with Quicktime 7.6.5 is clearly better

with Quick Time 7.65 walk test (at least for me) is nothing more s.7.66 I have 7.6. downloaded and installed Apple of and looks like it still works. Currently the system is still s.Rendern. About Sorensen Squeeze takes the 90 minute film in HD about 10 hours until he finished rendered as MPG2. Avid DVD directly I think about 3 hours, though, everything works. Are about 18 gigabytes on BlueRay
