I have with the free version of avid dv cut a short film. unfortunately I can not play the sequence, since the version does not allow it. I have a lot of late recognition and now I am annoyed.
even the most avid of vollversion can not read the files of the free version! Of the other programs, such as eg premiere, to say nothing.
anyone of you already had a similar problem or knows someone rat?

Uch understand the limitations of the free version so that you can play only Qucktime videos. Also back on tape's not. Hold it just a decoy to a appetite to do on the Avid.

Quicktime itself is not really a separate compression standard but synonymous only a container for several of the encoding methods have been implemented in Apple's Quicktime. The thread is indeed very old, but since I have the same problem synonymous with FreeDV had here is my tip.
Auspielen with FreeDV goes on tape!
And enable true digital cut out, or simply in the timeline, Digital Out. Thus, the signal is sent via firewire s.The Cam and can be accepted accordingly.
