I know the MC for a long time and have never been really happy with that because the constant switching of the processing modes is really annoying. The MC 5 smitten me now just in this respect and allows for the first time to import the AVCHD format - AMA missing a plugin for MTS files so that previous (long) transcoding is necessary.
For MOV / Quicktime files via AMA I can only report good - lack of performance with H.264 video I see nothing - the number of synonymous MOV files in the bin is not unlimited (as in Vegas, where more than 25 to malfunction or cause a crash).
In addition to the AMA support for MTS files, I would like to see an even better integration of the transition effects in the Smart Tool and frame accurate thumbnails in the timeline.

I am in the large and very pleased with all synonymous of the innovations in the fifth MC The new AMA is really a great leap forward, as is the entire Quicktime workflow. The AVCHD support, but I think could be improved, first, second, and not native to the MC remains hang when importing multiple clips, often times, so that you can not just let the night times larger amounts of data capture. The solution will be a hopefully soon to be released AMA support for AVCHD. My Conclusion: This MC is already really good, but makes you want on the 5.5 upgrade.

What I am sorry: That you can no longer with the arrow keys to change the display size of the timeline. And then there are other little things that I have not vistas and s.die I still have to get used. I can, for example, the keyframes in the audio tracks not up or down.
