I have the following problem:
I have a lot of video files in Avid's OMF format.
Because I want to process them on the PC in Premiere, I'm looking for a program, batch converter or so, with whom I the files in. AVI or. Or MPEG. Can convert MOV, ie, in any format that Premiere will eat. Avid myself I have not.
In the Inet I somehow find nothing.

Yes, is clear that you will find nothing for OMF. Although it OpenMediaFile or so means that very few have used Manufacturer.
You can do the following:
You have your material in the Avid Bin, or select the master sequence and export it as a "Quick Time Reference." Not as "Quickt Time Movie" or something!
Then a small mov file will be written and the sound will be exported as WAV or AIF with. The MOV file here is only one kind of link to the OMF files. That means you will have the OMF files, the MOV link and copy the WAV or AIF files on a disk, they connect s.den premiere computer and hope it goes. ;)
Premiere should now be able to reinladen Mov. There are actually playing while the OMF files.
