I have a huge problem with Avid Xpress Pro Hd
I can not play in the Composer window-cut material. When I go with the cursor moves through the timeline, the picture perfectly normal

Had with me exactly the same problem. Synonymous've tried everything possible. Ultimately, it was probably because that my Nvidia card was only on-board. Well integrated into the motherboard.
Since I am also the easiest nvidia card that I Could find connected (Geforce 6200 LE) via PCI Express has the problem from the table-GOD IS YOU:)

The only true and reliable solution is a certified system. If you have none of you need not be surprised if something is not working correctly. For me, stands next to a Mac Book pro. Just a pity that the toolkit does not run on the Mac. Hopefully that will change soon.

On my old Windows PC with Xpress DV 3.5 and a Matrox Millennium DualHead, I could solve the problem this way:
I have be low in both the monitors color depth to 16bit, then went.
Perhaps that is with you / you synonymous an (emergency) solution?
