Hi All,
I use the Avid Media Composer 3rd Recently, I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit and now the preview image is running in Avid anymore. When playing in the Source Monitor or in the preview screen remains a Stillimage available. On Windows Vista 32bit everything is wonderful funtioniert.
I'm perplexed. The drivers for my Intel graphics card is installed.
CPU: Pent. T3200
Graphics: Mobile Intel (R) 965 Express Chipset Family

I recently Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and wished to install my Avid Xpress 4.5. Directly to Windows 7 is no longer going, so I installed the Win XP mode, the synonymous works just fine. There can be AVID install and run, but I do not see any thumbnails longer synonymous. Running sound, not Picture.
Drivers are installed graphics card is a Quadro FX 570th

This is not so, but the statement is true anyway.
Xpress 4.5 (there were once synonymous newer versions before it was scrapped) before officially supports only XP with SP2.
Media Composer works synonymous with Vista.
Very carefully, the problem is suffused lie in the graphics drivers, rather the concerns the OVERLAY mode to use the Avid products.
Since then helps not synonymous XP mode only compatible graphics drivers and a suitable, compatible operating system.

Windows 7 will be of avid (not yet) officially supported, it is more or less the glückssache because it runs at all. As your laptop itself synonymous with not nearly match what the avid recommends that you probably should be glad of it ever work under vista.
Ifs because under vista works, I'd have to go back to back.

- Use quicktime 7.6.4
- Use other (older) graphics drivers
- For the quadro card use the 186.xxx drivers
