(Mini) DV tapes run with a belt speed of 18.8 mm / s, so that 10 cm tape corresponds to a period of 5.3 seconds.

I was so thorough in my Canon XM1 Bandsalat that the tape was only through a free cut. For five years I have not dared to tackle the problem. Now it's worked out first, and still synonymous for the train.

A drop-purpose adhesive between the belt ends indicate Alleskleber seems very risky. I would s.besten (bzw.bei VHS I have already cut synonymous), the band ends (even layered so they fit well together) and then on the back with adhesive tape for tapes (if you denn sowas) or with Tesa or has so together. Be careful that no gap remains, and one does not survive the tape s.den band edges.
Of course they will not let the perfect body deliberately drive over the head drum, but if it happened once but it seems to me to be safer than such a hard Alleskleberfleck.
It could be synonymous to share the tape and insert both halves into two new cassette housing. How do I do that with BetacamSP cassettes for tape salad.

There is no such a hard spot, if my advice is followed: Glue, it is still fresh solgange plotted ausstreifen. Thus the bond is completely flexible - it works, I've tried!
