Hello,
I am now a happy owner SonyHVR-Z5.
Since the original battery supplied is not very powerful, I still with 2 "replica batteries" bought on ebay. However, I have a problem with those. Both can be download with the camera but it does not work. When I turn on the camera, it's synonymous short s.aber after about 10 sec. the message "Battery is too hot. device turns off" It is to say that I did try several and the synonymous after a long wait were no longer hot, if they ever were.
Now I have 2 guesses.
- They are defective or similar
- The Z5 does not accept "replicas"
Has anyone an explanation for this?

Since dealers are the third battery for the Z5 and Sony offer the veteran classic self-F970 NP-Z5 compatible as described, it should not actually a problem with the Info-Chip's - at least not if your ebay seriously and competently (I unfortunately synonymous others have experienced). If Sonybei the Z5 does not have the warning amended - previous models had, in the case of incompatible other messages - in my view shows all rather broken out. Give it a chance to send you new and let you confirm that they cooperate with the Z5. Alternatively, you can at times synonymous www.dasgutegeschaeft.de ask: I'm there in a similar case, very fast and competent advice has been.

Not true. When I IxxPixx for 109 ¬ buy two original batteries (NP-F970), which s.meiner Z7 function.
Thanks for the tip but IxxPixx the original batteries are currently not available there and also costs 1 Battery 109 ¬ not 2nd
Maybe there are other providers?

I had for my Sony's battery always replicas and never had problems. But I know the discussions about problems in the use of external batteries. It seems to me as if it's because of firm-to-firm differences.

Once again ... one more reason the fingers of Sony products to be ... I'm not a fan of synonymous Info chips in, however, is no longer a Sony phenomenon anymore. Other Manufacturer make it just now, and anyway since it usually shortly after Introduction of new original batteries synonymous matching the replica, is in practice no longer an issue. My various foreign s.diversen Sony batteries work in any case no differently than the English original.

Always lots of discussions the brain. Nobody is forcing you to buy Sony products. But do you think other manufacturers would be otherwise? Look at just the practice of printing companies.

Times I would be really interested if I was with the Z5 to the present time only original batteries, can use or whether it maybe but usable replicas exist. has anyone else here already have a Z5 and this experience?

Incredibly long battery life.
The camera showed me something of far more than 750 min. Ok it has been in operation then what makes the 550 min nonetheless. And the best part of the Battery came with just 55 ¬ shipping Uronen and not as the original which is the 150th

I have a problem synonymous with the original NP-F970 Battery. At one HVR V1 with no problems, he shows s.der Z5 Battery too hot s.and the camera switches off.
