Frage von Johnny11:Hi Folks,
have been a few days here in the forums to make me smart about video & Co - must say, very good advice is to get here.
So here the same time a pole of questions s.euch:
1) What effect does the size of a CCD on the quality of resolution? The number certainly play a positive role - the more the better.
2) Can damage a cheap replica of the battery-camcorder? Or at worst, only the Battery to Chuck when he is no good?
3) It is often always regretted that the GS 280 has no DV-in (compared to the GS300). Because I want to basically cut my videos, I place no value on a transfer back to MiniDV tapes. I mean, it is broken as a result of the many Herumspulerei the tape drive too fast - for intensive use. The problem I had time and again at Hi8 - now I let it remain beautiful and the camcorder as much as possible. The finished tape can be seen in any case prefer to using DVD player - that is more universal than ever to have to lug the camcorder.
Has anyone ever had problems with its tape drive? The weak point is still, despite all digitaglen Effects, still in the threading of magnetic tape - this will s.ehesten broken with heavy use of the device.
4) In my first video, I had sound problems (I was being) provide an external micro. Is it better indoors, turn off the directional microphone on? Have a home evening with Music and Speech scenes filmed, jedohc could be heard when playing an unpleasant crackling and Noise - especially at ZOOM scenes. Therefore, I am disappointed by the acoustic GS280 something.
Complain 5) For despite all the positive reviews, I have the type of attachment of the shoulder belt: this is simply draufgehängt on the wrist strap, which I find quite intelligent. A separate fixation s.Gerät directly would be much better. Moreover, it seems to me the belt is too short to be considered when recording the picture on the display. Has anyone had similar experience?
6) One more question on the complementary parts: what is the difference between "active" and "passive" accessory shoe? Pros and cons?
'm A digital video novice and would like to thank everyone who enlightens me a little more closely.

Hello Johnny,
here are a few comments of my Page:
1) What effect does the size of a CCD on the quality of resolution? The size of a CCD has no influence on the number of sensor points located thereon (=) resolution. Especially s.Bildpunkten SD video as MiniDV already have a clearly defined number of stores, namely (720 × 576 =) 414,720. No more and no less.
However, large CCDs are usually more intense (what the documentary work benefits) and deliver a smaller depth of field (which is the scenic work is often required).
2) Can damage a cheap replica of the battery-camcorder? Or at worst, only the Battery to Chuck when he is no good? I have not heard that a battery would have damaged a camcorder. In case of doubt, the camcorder to simply deny its service. - From "cheap" Batteries, however, I would keep away. See synonymous
Where are the Batteries for 10 euros? 3) It is often always regretted that the GS 280 has no DV-in (compared to the GS300). Because I want to basically cut my videos ... Especially for DV-IN Cutter is interesting in that MiniDV tape is the cheapest medium for videos without data reduction and relatively safe to archive. The DVD video is usually only the view copy, which presents one (and which can be damaged - then you just make a new one).
The problem I had time and again at Hi8 ... You have to Hi8 cut? ;-) No seriously, The really stressful part of a camcorder is the recording itself: start - stop - start - stop - start - stop ... while capturing and playout is practically a washing program: Start (beginning band) - Stop (film or tape-end) - Done.
Has anyone ever had problems with its tape drive? My oldest still-functioning camcorder (SonyTR2000) is 14 years old. And although never a professional shop has seen, he still works today. The drive time to time I clean of itself
