Hello freaks
I have the following phenomenon s.TV. When I put the DVD into the player (Philips DVD 763SA), has launched the TV (Grundig, 12 years old) car, created DVD (with 2006 plus VdL starts) with the menu. I Start of the film there, everything seems like a widescreen movie with black bars above and below, but everything is very compressed.
Kommts Now I Start the TV manual and then the DVD player, the movie plays correctly and in correct size.
So I would at least have found the solution. But I would be interested in the cause, has anyone of you, similar phenomena? VdL first I had suspected, but there everything is set to 4:3, s.TV synonymous and synonymous recordings were made in 4:3 (Panasonic NV-GS180, which could indeed synonymous 16:9)

I think that's not true because the communication between the TV and DVD player. Turns the Television at some stations auto in another mode (4:3, 16:9, etc.)? The problem I had once synonymous with an older Sony DVD player and a Philips TV. When the DVD player eventually gave up the ghost, disappeared with a new DVD player the problem.
So I think that because you can not do much except, perhaps, to disable in the setup of your TV to switch automatically, if that is possible.
