Frage von Speed Demon:Hi,
I still have a few VHS tapes and digitize mine recently had the Matrox RT.X100 bought used, when I heard that in real-time MPEG-including PCM sound (; I 2 can capture important).
Now someone has told me that I should (which, simply sell off again, unfortunately I lack synonymous Adobe Premiere, but had somewhere an old version with a license, but it can not be found).
Now I wanted to ask: Are they the Blackmagic cards so great or why I should not stay with the Matrox?
Synonymous way, I have a Canopus ADVC-300, could therefore directly zuspielen via Firewire. Want to capture in any case only in DV and then convert to MPEG-2, have the real-time capturing robs me for years because of the quantity (,!) (; Since I rarely to) get the nerve!
Would look great on me tips. Synonymous've just used the search feature, but could not quite smart from the contributions. There is synonymous to HDMI, etc., the ability of Black Magic cards in this regard in my case, of course, sowas no preference ...

If the Matrox does what you want, why change?
Could be that the Blackmagic cards in some areas 'are better', but if you get on the job manageable for your VHS digitalization with the Matrox, but plays no role for you.

thanks, but I have the Matrox indeed not yet installed and the installation is to make itself synonymous indeed be very difficult because it's only with certain components (usMotherboard) expires.
Can someone please tell yet what the Blackmagic cards? They offer a very good digital quality? Can they synonymous capture in MPEG-2 via hardware in real time?
