Hello!
I am trying desperately just a DVD with DVD Studio Pro to burn. The menu I have created themselves; video clip with buttons. The blanks used are TDK DVD + R.
If the burner as lead-in writing after a few minutes the error message "Unknown Device Error".
Has anyone ever experienced something and / or can help with?

Refers to a problem with the disc / drive. Limit the problem. Blank (If I remember correctly, the error message but then "unknown medium error".

Drive:
> Dirty laser optics? Cleaning DVD (solves the problem in most cases, the first measure).
> The drive may be defective. Typical signs: The reading of a DVD / CD lasts forever (if it ever works) and is accompanied of a buzz.
Problem version of the program:
You use a PPC version of the DSP on an Intel-Calculator. This leads to two errors: Scrubber in the timeline results in "Unexpected Quit" and burning leads to "Unknown Device Error".

> Not Scrubber and instead of "burning" only "Finish" and burn with Toast.

Now synonymous nor Toast refuses to burn something, I slowly that it is s.Laufwerk, which is very very bad thing.

Update: I can not program with burn DVDs. CDs in iTunes, however, are no problem. Ich werd mir morgen mal ne Reinigungs-buy DVD. I hope my drive is not out.

Sometimes the solution lies in the blanks of cheap Aldi ....:)
