This patent describes among other scenarios, the user can configure in which a first and a second operating system and run the possibility of a second operating system in a virtual environment. In the
application U.S. 20050251689 A1 is about something other than a machine with multiple virtual operating systems. Frankly, this has indeed synonymous solutions abound (VMware, Qemu, Bochs ...).
Apple thinks s.einen Calculator with at least two operating systems.
The System-1 is a complete multimedia system and receives the decoded data from the system-2.
The small, sleek system-2 will run independently of System-1 from the BIOS and cares ranzuschaffen multimedia content. These can be encrypted with DRM, or be provided and be of System-2 decoded.
Since the system is now prima-2 can be put in a little black box that can share some resources with the multimedia system, one hopes that this is the decryption faster and safer and speicherschonender.

That sounds almost as if Apple is able to imagine something like a digital data processor. Maybe it is already blad put a DSP card for the PCIe bus on which a couple of Cell processors, which then produce HD-effects in real time ... Or just decrypt DRM ...
Only as a second operating system plays a minor role or not quote at least would be particularly noteworthy.
