Frage von R.Schenn:Hello s.Alle,
I once needed some help. I want to make the 60th birthday of my father's a movie. In addition, I have rented a SonyHC 14 Comcoder. Next weekend I will make the shots. Sowas I've never done before.
My question: how I'll get shots of the camera to the computer, so I can edit there? (I have bought the software Magix Video Deluxe). I have read that the thing has a USB interface. Is it over? I have read that it is synonymous via Firewire, but there was no cable, I've still map, and because of this once do not want to buy and install everything, it's great if it was going synonymous with USB. If it lasts longer it gives me no preference.
If I have the movies on the computer, I can edit it with the program, cut, etc, or do I first make something to convert (or similar format). Like I said, sowas've never done before.
Thanks in advance,
Reka
Antwort von Peter S.:
Firewire card will cost approximately ¬ 15-20 including software, the cable for 5 ¬. The Sonykann only still images over USB or mini video output for the web.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
had at the company, of which I have rented the camera synonymous ordered the cable and card.
However, I have Windows XP SP2. I read that it then may lead to problems. If it is synonymous with me should be the case, it is enough if I uninstall SP2?
Thank you,

Hi Reka,
why Firewire is preferable to the USB port when audio - and / or video data to be transferred, and the Programs you can use for capturing, you pack everything:

Below is a checklist,

Capture of Canon MV700 is no longer possible. An uninstall of SP2 fixes the error in most cases.
