Hello worthy community!
I use CS3 on a Macbook Pro.
When Caputuren of my (SD) DV Cam I get often, but not always, the result of that sound and picture are not synchronously.
Actually I always use the same basic settings. It is unclear to me what it is.
Perhaps, but one or two similar experiences or can I simply give a wise tip. I am here is already almost s.Verzweifeln.

For me the problem occurs when playback of clips, but they were ok (in the VLC player, everything was ok). Remedy: under "Edit", "Preferences", "audio equipment" was the wrong device is selected and under "Audio Output Assign" setting is also changed. Then it was picture and sound syncron. Thanks for the tip, which I unfortunately do not have.
I once received a fresh clip on Quicktime as DV-AVI and then exported to a Windows computer to run. Again, the file asynchronously.

Then times with other software Capturing try. For me on Windows when there were problems with capturing the sound SonyDSR 200, when everything went VX2100. The Adobe support me empfiel third-party software. Since capturing ScenalyzerLive with 4.0, there were no more problems. Unfortunately, the software runs well only on Windows.

That's what I tried yesterday evening. It is. Beautifully synchronously - as it should. Then I have the DV-AVI then through the old freeware tool of Scenalyzer (Premiere optimized) in noisy little AVI's zerhackstückt. CS3 can then easily import it. But what a convenient way! Uff.
In the long term, this is not the solution that I mind!
Tonight, try something else and look what iMovie offers.
