Frage von oskar-lima:Hi folks,
I now after years with my Premiere 1.5 was satisfied, I now deep into the grab bag, and I ordered the new CS4. Gerdade in relation to streaming format so I could no longer keep up the oldie.
It came last week, I've installed ... and was horrified! It runs in the timeline MUCH slower than 1.5! Previously, 4 tracks (DV) effects with no problem - now the jerky thumbnail at 2 tracks + crossfade. The Adobe hotline says that I should be on a dual-core processor change. My Calculator looks like this:
AMD Athlon 64 3700 +, 2 GB Ram, GeForce 6600, 2 fast SATA disks in RAID 0 array (for video data), Win XP
I really shy back from a whole new board and use to re-install everything. The fastest processor that I use for my current Socket 939-get, the Athlon 64 X2 4800 +. But the cost alone synonymous over 100 Euro. I mean, that's now synonymous's no longer :-( but I knew already it seems like whether or not what does. Has anyone of you ever on a dual core and the remainder converted to left? War Premiere thereafter significantly faster? Your opinion would really help me!
Gruß,
Olli
