Hello,
What camcorder do you have? Model Name? Analog or digital?
Antwort von t0mat0:
If you have a digital camcorder, then this should have an output DV (IEEE 1394, I-Link). That is the way comfortabele, but for that you still have to buy an appropriate card for the PC! Since synonymous ne cheap enough of eBay, because everything digitally transmitted and therefore not of the quality depends on the map! Some newer camcorders have a USB port synonymous!
If you do not have a digital camcorder, you Bruach ne ne Capure card or TV card or a video grabber. Times had to look on eBay.
May be, that thou hast sowas already, but could be synonymous, that the connections you've mentioned above are only outputs!
In addition, you will have with your PC unfortunately not much fun at the video cut!
First, the videos need, when you do digital dubbing from camcorder (via Firewire or USB so much) space, about 20 GB per hour.
The analog-recordings do not consume as much Spcieher, since it usually takes as in MPEG 1 or 2! This transformation, however, takes a lot of computing power! Your PC will GREEMENT DVD is not out excellent! Then you'd have to have an expensive capture card to buy the hardware MPEG 2 support and not most of the CPU can be calculated!
Even if you have a video cut will take to render an eternity!
Can you try it, yes!

Have you already read, however, that the camcorder of 1999 is?
I can not imagine that it is digital or that it has a USB - or FW-interface.
I'm assuming that he only has one video output. So he would need a card that receives the signal.
But with a PC, this performance makes sure everything is no fun.
I have a reasonably current notebook with Centrino processor, even while I'm waiting an eternity for some processing steps.

Ulead MSP and with my old 850 AMD worked with 256 MB up to version 7 Was rendered halt overnight. MSP8 I have not tried, I will no longer be synonymous in this calculator, because now is a new Rechenknecht in use.
There remains the question of the camera.

I can not imagine that it is digital or that it has a USB - or FW-interface. MiniDV there since 1995, so it is not to say that the camcorder has to be necessarily similar. The first DV camcorder available to (with one exception of Panasonic) all have a DV port. The low powered USB connection was not yet needed and angry today is actually synonymous only amateur filmmakers around with it. Most video editing programs continue to support a USB capture.

Jo, hab nen Athlon XP 2600 + and 512 MB Ram and just because you can work with Premiere! In my experience, you can DV - Video s.PII with 600 Mhz and 128 MB of capture and editing - as long as one does not expect any real and not used to sophisticated software. Older software versions are frugal when it comes to computing power (for when the came on the market, the hardware was synonymous not yet) so quickly. I have Premiere 6.0 initially used on a Athlon 800 with 128 MB and had no problems with it (except that you wait for a while each transition must).
