Frage von Schröder:Hello.
I bought cheap at the flea market one Hi8 Sharp (VL-AH50s). videocamera. For the integrated load function I have questions.
The camera is about 5 years old and already has a fairly modern concept, meaning it has no viewfinder, but a swivel-mounted monitor.
To demonstrate sh synonymous:

there were several similar-looking models of Sharp, which is perhaps the charging function to be performed the same or similar.
Manufacturer everyone probably has their own "operating philosophy and function," which he may model over several generations more or less retains or acquires.
Why can perhaps help me with the following problem synonymous someone who is not necessarily the same model, but of a similar Sharp from the time around the year 2000.
The camera works fine, just what was expected and the vendor synonymous acknowledged, is the battery of age or long non-use probably broken. (at 10 euro price for a fully intact Camera can not) through a bad battery probably complain.
But before I order a new battery, which will cost me around 25 euros, I want to be certain if only the battery, or perhaps synonymous nor the charging function of the camera is broken, and I would use a new battery not synonymous. .
According to the Manual light while the Ladekontrollampe permanently red, then green for full battery to light up.
With this camera, however, began after about 10 to 15 minutes to see at a red light flashing. What will this mean flashing, but it is not documented in the manual.
I measured it then the 3.6 V battery. The gauge showed after several charging attempts again and again only 2.4 volts, as if one of the three internal cells were dead, the Battery is thus probably ripe for a ton.
If the flashing of the lamp is intended to indicate a defective battery, which s.sich sounds plausible, but unfortunately, as I have said nothing about it in the manual (or is it I have) read over, I would be grateful if someone could confirm me this undocumented feature, because then I could be reassured to order a new battery.

The Battery is almost certainly over.
The charging circuitry is usually fairly robust, built especially for the older parts, which is not in accordance with the "shun cheapness" concept.
I do not think that the flashing indicating a defective charge controller.
But let's let a similar-camera owners to have their say
