Hi people
I am looking for a professional camcorder that I can use one hand for short films for a long synonymous shots (1 hr s.Stück) s.einem seminar. A Compact Flash system is therefore unfortunately not an option. I had such a good offer for the SonyHVR-Z7E for about 3500 ¬, which sounds very interesting for me. What do you think? Do you have better suggestions?

Why do you write then you do not want a flash card system? The Z7 has yet exactly up to 2.5 hours on a card (32 GB).
"Eternal" terms on maps, several hours, as synonymous with the Panasonic 151, which SonyNXCAM, the small JVC 100 ... Free Choice. The maximum of 60 minutes to tape a few years ago were still an advantage, today is THE critical period restriction.

True - but memory camcorders offer you the advantage miserably long recording times without change ... The NXCAM series about and some even have other 2 slots where you can constantly change and therefore theoretically unlimited record can (depending on how much memory you have s.Start) :-)
And even with a single card you get depends on the size and codec on loosely over 90Minuten (AVCHD 16GB for maps)

The SonyHXR-NX5E seems to be very interesting in any case. Does anyone know how it is in Comparison to Z7 beating? SlashCAM Z7 has unfortunately not been tested and therefore lacks the Comparison.

I have the NX5 and my father the Z7.
Have been synonymous with both filmed and used both at the same (wedding).
The picture is almost the same, on the Picture Profile, which can even adjust the same. Then see both cameras no difference.
LCD is better in NX5, processing especially in the Lens of the Z7.
Handling is almost the same. Z7 is a little heavier.
Tapeless recording is working to worlds more comfortable than with tape!
Moreover nudelt the head drum does not.
And you have an SDI output s.der NX5.
Here I have a few test shots of the NX5, but slightly Color Graded.
Select 720p.

While there are both at a 4GB file-split - the recording is, however, next interruption. In hindsight, we can have the 4GB files can easily merge by copy-command "- that is fused to a clip .... And that is synonymous only necessary if your NLE does not automatically recognize the files as a continuous clip.
