I am planning for some time now to buy a camcorder for my one-man company.
As I previously was a student and had access to the pool of university was not really acute, but now it comes with racing on the steps to independence and I want to start to use a "trusted" Camera.
Now I have informed in the consideration phase (which is now a year) over all possible variants.

price should stop lying about 2000, and I would not kill 3000 but not essential would be synonymous.

It should definitely be an HD Camera! As I said, it will be for contract work and my "standard" Camera therefore be some time available. SD 2012, and who want to have?

SonyNEX VG10: NO, I've even tried the camera in the store. The zoom ring from the standard lens can move extremely heavy, the viewfinder is not exactly synonymous great. You can use many buttons display only when unfolded.
HVR HD1000: NO, this is a waste of money. This is a Consumer Camera eim in large plastic enclosure
I myself have a JVC GYHD110, I can recommend (I would sell s.dem 22 January synonymous for 1700 ¬)
The XH A1 is actually a good choice (I've only used it briefly). I do not know now what it should be because of a problem with the 24p.

There were some problems in the course of a documentary film with the Canon 24f own format, which was recognized only as of Avid 60i and then, logically, 2 frames per second (a bit ago) is lost.
I honestly do not know whether these problems still exist, they have me very far away of Canon, as we had to put that time nearly a month in conversions.
