Dear All,
I really do not need a camcorder - but just want a very good video image on the PC have. At the moment I use a Logitech Webcam Pro 4000 for scarce 100. It bother me three things: Resolution, Color performanceund above all else: the framerate. Even slow movements at 320 times 160 score are just choppy.
FireWire or USB 2.0 are available as a port, fast hardware synonymous - could someone tell me what I could use for a camera?
I thought to myself that I, instead of spending money for a camcorder (with recording drive, TFT monitor etc.), only pure could get the camera without the other (for me the parts needed) - and thus save money, or possibly could get a better picture quality.
Are there any sowas? (Or is sowas simply not developed because no longer fall in the quantities produced, the components of the camcorder into the weight?)
I had found several posts about my question, but nothing that really helped me next ...

Just on Ebay for a used pick Cam with drive damage. The nachgeworfen you get, yes, it goes even a VHS camera for $ 10.

So I'm pretty old ne, über'n parallelport ongoing logitech cam ... time for 15DM on ebay and the fact no problems are clearly not great resolution and quali ...
yes not now know of the abyss, what do you want to add it or should be obs internet conferences halt so on ... But 's can believe some of these messenger even only low-resolution ... mist when I tell, please correct me:)
And if you can use directly via firewire, the live video in certain apllikationen is synonymous questionable ...

I have found no browse through, was clearly in that it is only the drive and search for "drive" brought no results - is this a common injury?
A VHS camera would be enough? But then I would just need an analog / digital converter, because VHS is still analog - or not?

No - just at the local show the video image. It is "jerky" not in the sense - only one sees that movements are blurred.

The background is a bit complicated - we want less a "video surveillance" when our baby is sleeping. We then sit next few rooms, and work or watch a movie - and want to take a look at our baby. Roughly enough to the webcam. But the Resolutionist not good enough to see small movements or changes in facial expression as a twitch of the eyes. That may sound a little crazy - but helps us in our situation very much. The webcam was simply a spontaneous attempt and we have noticed how the relief is immense and that is exactly what will profit us. But we just need a very good picture in order to feel secure ... And not just this typical faded Webcam Picture.

is yes, and by then the same principle this should work, provided that issues the cam 's ordinary visual ... Just give time "defective" or "bastler" in the ebay-search with an .. may find that clever. much luck

it does not have necessarily to be a defective camera, but only an inexpensive (not every model) has a good resale value. I see two aspects that could play in the supervision of a sleeping baby into play:
Lowlight Ability: How good are the pictures in low light conditions? If the picture is roaring like the devil, then synonymous no detail visible.
NightShot function: If the light is generally too weak to be a camera could be synonymous with NightShot function, the solution. In this case, the scene is with (the people are not visible) light and infrared lights of the camera turned into a visible picture.

If I had such a part, analog camera (SONY CCD-F455E) with defective recorder. I have a switch, the picture is there and then turns the power off after a short time, because the camera is in the so-program (Maybe to save battery).
what can you do about it
guess that this can be in any old camera.
