Frage von markus1893:
Hi,
I have the following problem.
I have my Sony camcorder (MiniDV) s.meinen new Panasonic plasma TV connected.
The picture quality is terrible.
I think that my television makes a good upscaling as the non-HD TV Programs have a very good quality.
What am I doing wrong?
What can I do besides a HD camcorder to buy?
I have connected my CAM using the S-Video input.
Thanks and Greetings
Markus

Nothing.
You have brought out the best.
Antwort von beiti:

The problem is not only the upscaling, but synonymous, the analog signal processing. Unfortunately, DV camcorders do not have HDMI output.
If you bring the DV video with a good software to DVD and play this DVD on a DVD player with HDMI output or a Blu-ray player, the quality is already quite a bit better.
Antwort von Frank B.:

MiniDV to (FullHD?) Plasma is an anachronism. Purchase supplement you ne-HD camera, all other attempts with the DV image are almost certainly fail. The DV-image must be inflated by about five times to make it full frame on a Full HD display. This creates a blur and therefore an impression vermatscht image that is tolerable only from a distance. But as you can so remain synonymous with a tube TV.
