Hi,
I do not know whether I'm right here. But hope you can help me anyway.
Search for a camcorder. He should meet certain requirements:
- Min. 20 would be better optical zoom 30 optical
- Image Stabilization (very important)
- Digital memory (what would you suggest? SD / hard drive / DVD or something else ????)
- Maximum price ¬ 800 (top schmerzgrenze 1000 ¬ if necessary)
- Photo function (Resolutionmin. 3mio pixel)
- Video resolution: min. 800.000pixel better but would be 1.3 million.
- The Acculeistung should be good! no idea what currently is standard but it should be better (at least 1hr. aufnahme)
- And it should not be too big. with the already quite small, have become. (If possible in the pocket and disappear.)
A volume criteria but I'm s.der one or another point compromise.

From the mini-DV tape copy on a firewire-Schnittstelle/Kabel on the PC. Take a digital camcorder to mini-DV tape recording, check whether the PC has a FireWire input has.
Beginners devices could the Panasonic NV-GS27, if to be more expensive as the Panasonic NV-GS300 or GS280 NV-synonymous. Only as examples, synonymous Sony devices are good.
But rather hands off of equipment, the film on DVD, hard drive or on film. The mpeg is recorded, and is harder to edit. Synonymous hands off of AVCHD devices, and for the beginner probably synonymous of HDV devices (although the latter were still more likely).

Oh, I can not tell you - but because it buys halt for safety's sake at least a second battery.
You get really where the 500s? Is already an older device that later were called.
