Now my question:
We are looking for ner appropriate action. We move and priced at about $ 800, would be synonymous with something more in it.
The cam will come mainly used for concerts.

Well here fit the large SD prosumer. Say XM2, XL1s, VX2100.
Where the budget fit the XL2 would s.besten ago, which gives the Offered forum at about 950 ¬. The XL1s ¬ s.1100 and the VX2100 to the 1200 ¬.

To stay on the floor of the facts, I recommend the Canon HV30, which is as desired in the price range, recording to MiniDV and provides very good pictures. Add to that a good tripod with fluid head and external Micro, and synonymous instinctive feel for the zoom lever to train.
My equipment for concerts: HV20, Velbon DV7000, PV CAM Beyerdynamic MCE72 long XLR cable, a Mackie Onyx Satellite as a preamp / XLR adapter, and usually a larger external screen. Do not forget headphones.

Tapes I'll take the most 5-packs of TDK (, 9 ¬), sometimes synonymous Panasonic. So far, I've never had a problem with them. Only 80 minutes Panasonic tapes used to have a few dropouts, since I stay with 60min tapes.

The Canon XM1 is not it'll have a lot of fun.
2 years ago I was with a Canon XM1, XM2 and XL1S at a concert, and the XM1 was on a crane. And it was hardly recognize anything. The xm2 this is because a lot better.
I would borrow a lamp ore of Sachtler.

So far we have had good experience with the XM1, who acquaintances said had mal ne event of us (; Hard Rock & Metal Mottoshow) filmed and the images were quite useful.
On Wednesday at Splash! (and all 14 days ne small concert session in nem old movies) is testing the Cam times.
