Have recent times my MS1 from the cupboard gekramt and tested whether it still works. The pictures can not even close with an average Mini-DV - keep.
Dear coal into something new, or invest in 'ne HV20/30 used, as already suggested above. For 400 euros, it should be synonymous enough new and useful mini-DV - which are all suitable for the hobby.
