Dear forum!
I have the task on a cycle path, the speed of cyclists to be determined. In addition, a Wegabschnitt (probably 8m) of the Page and filmed using distance markers (on the cycle path) and time code, the speed of each cyclist can be calculated and the information flows only in one statistic, that there are therefore no new punishments invented ;-)
I must be able to see what time the cyclists for that 8 meters is required. I want to make an editing software where I Picture for Picture-forward can be, and the time code is displayed.
My questions:
1) Do I understand correctly: Time code is always available when I start, it depends of the processing software, whether it is on the PC is visible?
2) Are codecs like mpeg2 ever placed? That is, I've enough picture information on the tape / storage media to Passierzeitpunkt to detect a cyclist? Could I have to black / white switch (because I do not color) and thus the remaining image information increase?
3) Which Camera would be suitable as long as possible, continuous records, if possible or on a memory card. Had the first Panasonic HDC-SD1EG in the head, but the forums read something about that long shots do not work. Long battery life would be desirable, but is not number one criterion, because any electricity is available.
Oh: To get the whole thing very simple, should Kamers no more than about 1000 ¬ cost, otherwise the budget is blown.

1) Yes.
2) No.. So halfway. No.. The camera can not, although in theory it would have advantages.
3) No idea. You need just by all the cameras ransack. None knows every heart. They tend to go MiniDV or take but a HDD camera, with 30 GB hard drive. This keeps really long, but is not so great from the picture and with the time code difficult. Proper frame-accurate time code is only available from IR.

miniDV would synonymous rich,
necessary, with live recording on a laptop,
optics in the experiment is almost no preference given enough
panasonic GS320 only fully accurate than 1/25sec
(spacing of frames) is not.
recordings at night needs a

at night needs a nightshotfunktion recordings. This is expected in the planned removal but nothing more and get an (automatic) prolongation of the exposure time should thus not synonymous hand. Otherwise, the measurement used to estimate quickly. ;-)

for 1000 euro's synonymous NEN laptop, two sensors and a software that auto prepare everything in a convenient and excel - table output. should each measurement / computer science - the first semester student can write ;)... alternatively, for example, C-control or something and make yourself ...
